Sky

My wife thought I was having a heart attack. Almost thirty years ago, Jesus came to me in my sleep. In the dream, He filled the entire sky. When I saw Him, I began to dig like a dog in the ground to hide from His incredible holiness. I couldn’t dig deep enough or fast enough because of the horror of my sin. Then, Jesus put His hand on my head and I was made completely clean and whole. The next thing I knew, I was on my feet and I had fixed my gaze on Him. Now at complete rest, peace overwhelmed me. As He was making His way back across the sky, He said, “I am coming back soon.”

After He revealed His coming, I asked Him to bless me. He stopped, looked at me, and raised both hands over me. When He did, wave after wave of Glory filled me and consumed me. It was exquisite agony and I began to gasp for breath. That’s when my wife began to shake me thinking I was having a heart attack, I don’t know what would have happened if she hadn’t.

The following is a simple tract that I wrote in response to what Jesus spoke to me that night:

The Coming of Jesus Is at Hand

Jesus, God’s only Son, said He would come back in the clouds, surrounded by a great number of his holy angels. Wherever you are on earth, the Bible says that “every eye will see Him.” It doesn’t matter if you are in Africa or New York city, in the depths of a Kentucky coal mine or on top of the Eiffel Tower; you’ll be able to see Jesus piercing the clouds and coming back to earth!

What does Jesus’ coming mean to you? Why should you care of or even be concerned? When Jesus comes, our time on earth will be over. No longer will we be seen as rich or poor, weak or strong, great or small. The color of our skin and our accomplishments on earth won’t matter either. What will matter will be Jesus and if you knew him as savior and Lord.

Jesus is coming to separate the ones he saved from sin from the ones who refused to believe in Him as Lord. This will all take place at what the Bible calls “The judgment seat of Christ.” We will all have to stand by ourselves in front of Him to be judged. We won’t have our husband, wife, mom, dad, boyfriend or girlfriend to be there with us. Just because our parents or grandparents went to church doesn’t get you into heaven. Jesus will know if you loved Him and by what kind of life you lived.

For those who do love Him, it will be a great day! Jesus will say to them, “Come you who are blessed by my Father, take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.’’ (Matthew 25:34) Jesus will receive them into heaven, a place where there’s no more pain, sickness, suffering or tears. In heaven, we will spend forever with God!

The “lost” (those who didn’t accept Jesus as Lord), on the other hand, will be terrified when Jesus comes. They will hear Jesus say to them the dreadful words, “Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.”  (Matthew 25:41)  At this time there will be no more chances to pray a sinners prayer, or to cry out for mercy, for the final judgment has been given and there can be no appeal.

No one knows the day or the hour of Jesus’ return but be sure of this, the coming of Jesus is at hand! It could be today, tomorrow, or ten years from now. When is not the important thing, what’s important is if you will be ready. Ready if He comes before the sun rises in the morning.

If Jesus came now would you be ready to meet him or would you be eternally lost? We want you to look with anticipation to that day rather than living in dread and fear of His coming. God loves you and wants you to be with Him forever in heaven, that’s why he sent Jesus to die for you. But you have to make the choice. Ask Jesus to forgive your sins and to take them away. He’ll welcome you with open arms and you will be a child of His! Then, begin reading the Bible, talking to Jesus, and listen as He talks to you. Don’t put it off, time is too short we want you to be ready!

The coming of Jesus is at hand!
